God's Gifts to Man
"Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers: all good giving and every perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no alteration or shadow caused by change."

Gifts from God:
- Eternal Life: For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
- Grace: Be hospitable to one another without
complaining. As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s
varied grace. (1 Peter 4:9–10)
- Wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, mighty deeds, prophecy, discernment, tongues,
interpretation of tongues: To each individual the manifestation of the
Spirit is given for some benefit. To one is given through the Spirit the expression of wisdom; to another
the expression of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another
gifts of healing by the one Spirit; to another mighty deeds; to another prophecy; to another discernment
of spirits; to another varieties of tongues; to another interpretation of tongues. But one and the same
Spirit produces all of these, distributing them individually to each person as He
wishes (1 Corinthians 12:7–11)
- Grace, faith: For by grace you have been
saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so no one
may boast. For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared
in advance, that we should live in them. (Ephesians 2:8–10)
- Prophecy, faith, ministry, teacher, exhortation, generosity:
Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us
exercise them: if prophecy, in proportion to the faith; if ministry, in ministering; if one is a teacher,
in teaching; if one exhorts, in exhortation; if one contributes, in generosity; if one is over others.
(Romans 12:6–8)
- Access, petition: And we have this confidence
in Him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in
regard to whatever we ask, we know that what we have asked him for is ours.(1 John 5:14–15)
- Excessive reward, divine life" 38 Give and gifts
will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your
lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.” 39 And he told them a parable,
“Can a blind person guide a blind person? Will not both fall into a pit? 40 No disciple is superior to the teacher;
but when fully trained, every disciple will be like his teacher. (Luke 6:38–40)
- Gifts appropriate to our calling and salvation: If
you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father
give good things to those who ask him. “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and
the prophets.(Matthew 7:11–12)
- Salvation, eternal life: For God so loved the
world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal
life. (John 3:16)
- Love, blessings, prophesy: Pursue love, but strive
eagerly for the spiritual gifts, above all that you may prophesy. For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak
to human beings but to God, for no one listens; he utters mysteries in spirit. On the other hand, one who
prophesies does speak to human beings, for their building up, encouragement, and
solace. (1 Corinthians 14:1–3)
- Spiritual enrichment, virtues, generousity, gratitude, grace:
The one who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply
your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You are being enriched in every way for all generosity,
which through us produces thanksgiving to God, for the administration of this public service is not only supplying
the needs of the holy ones but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God. Through the evidence of
this service, you are glorifying God for your obedient confession of the gospel of Christ and the generosity of
your contribution to them and to all others, while in prayer on your behalf they long for you, because of the
surpassing grace of God upon you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:10–15)
- Love: indwelling of God, unity with God: Whoever
acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him and he in God. We have come to know and to believe
in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in
Him. (1 Jn 4:15–16)
- Truth: And I will ask the Father, and he will
give you another Advocate to be with you always, the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot accept, because it
neither sees nor knows it. But you know it, because it remains with you, and will be in you. (Jn 14:16–17)
