What I like about this book is the poetic nature of our faith. To contemplate life after death in all its complexity and conclude, yes, our God is merciful and wants us deep in his bosom. And yet even more hopeful, we want Him. There is much contemplation in Fr. Ruotolo's book as he explores deeply many places in Purgatory, many stages and what has been revealed to him as the order and justice of life after death. All in all, we are to hope, remain vigilant in our support of the Church suffering, and as part of our service here in Earth, continue to pray and make reparation for them as for us. With Joy we daily recommit to our work as Church Militant and our united journey with Church Suffering and the help we have from Church Triumphant. I am renewed in spirit by Fr. Ruotolo's exhortation.
