A young sailor, Antwone Fisher (Derek Luke), is ordered to see a Navy psychiatrist (Denzel Washington) who aims to help him get a handle on debilitating anger that causes many shipboard scraps -- and that also led Fisher to a life of crime before he joined the Navy.
