Saint Germaine Catholic Parish
Our beautiful church has been blessed with the installation of stained-glass windows that invite us to meditate and enter more deeply into the saving revelation of what God has done, and we thank Him that we have this beautiful place to worship. The Nativity and Descent of the Holy Spirit windows, the scenes, and the colors reveal to us all the dimensions of God’s loving care and give us a visual way to increase our faith in the goodness of God and His salvation that comes to us in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
The stained glasses on the east and west side of our new church are two windows that came from St. Joseph’s parish in Easton, PA. Saint Joseph Parish was established in 1852. It was combined in 2008 with several other parishes to form Our Lady of Mercy in Easton, PA
The window depicts the birth of Christ in three Nativity panels. The first panel on the left shows us the three kings who responded to the star and came to adore and bring gifts to the Christ-child, the Center panel reveals Jesus in the manger with Mary and Joseph, and the third panel reveals the shepherds who responded to the angel.
